The last time we talked, I basically spilled everything about what I need to do to get 1LD off the ideas list and onto the internet page by August 1st. Part of me felt liberated about sharing the list. The other part me of realised how much there is to do.

As you can imagine, I’ve spent the last week working on the list. But as all good lists go, I’m stuck on one aspect of the process. And I have a feeling there is no easy way out of it.
Item #1: Logo / imagery / artwork - sort out and pin down
I literally started at the top of the list week. What I love about Asana is the way you can shift tasks up and down, and sort by the due date, rather than have to keep the order you created the tasks. But as fate would have it, one of the two biggest tasks I have ahead of me happened to be sitting in the prime spot.
I probably undersold how important the logo, imagery and general artwork for 1LD is going to be. Sure, every blog has artwork. Most blogs follow something like this structure:
